Albacete en Salsa is the long-running Encuentro Internacional de Ritmos Latinos organized by the non-profit Asociacion Cultural Amigos de Cuba de Albacete. Held across the Hotel Palacio Albacete & SPA and the city's Palacio de Congresos, the official site describes a program that puts regional teachers, groups and Cuban-dance companies centre stage, with quality workshops, galas, shows and social dancing open to all levels. The 18th edition runs from 5 to 7 March 2027 and is dedicated to the Cuban conga. The weekend includes an inaugural gala, an international Estrellas de los Ritmos Latinos gala, theory and practical workshops, and the 12th national Rueda de Casino exhibition contest with cash prizes. The dance mix is led by Cuban salsa with bachata and kizomba.
