Bachata con Piquete Festival 2026

Bachata con Piquete is an immersive multi-city festival across the Dominican Republic, the birthplace of bachata, blending dance, music, history and local culture. The 2026 edition runs November 23-29, 2026, with the tour visiting Santo Domingo, Santiago, Jarabacoa, Cabarete and Las Terrenas, offering bachata and merengue classes with Dominican and international instructors. Directed by Dominican bachata champion Maquiol Rodriguez, the festival combines dance workshops on musicality and authentic Dominican style with excursions, parties, food and travel between destinations. The full package covers accommodation, classes, transport between cities and social events across the seven days.
