BailaMar Bachata Camp is an international dance retreat in the Dominican Republic, the motherland of bachata, founded in February 2014 by Alexander Yumashev and Maria Kozlovskaya. It is one of the longest-running bachata tours in the country, teaching traditional Dominican bachata along with merengue, bolero and musicality to small groups (max 15 people) with Dominican and international instructors. Edition 41 runs December 5-19, 2026, a two-week immersive program across Las Terrenas, Santo Domingo and other Dominican locations. Beyond roughly 30 hours of dance workshops, the camp includes nightly parties, beach tours, island excursions and cultural immersion in local cuisine and community.
