Desert Dance Marathon is a travelling salsa adventure through Morocco organized by Talal Salsa Academy, combining social dancing with a road trip from Marrakech across the Atlas, kasbahs and valleys to the Sahara dunes around Merzouga. The next edition runs in late May 2027, building on the 4th edition held in 2026. Rather than a hotel-based festival, it pairs nightly socials with cultural discovery - Ait Ben Haddou, Skoura, Todgha and Dades valleys, Berber hospitality and dunes nights - for a salsa-focused dance holiday in the desert.
