Havana en Belgrado is Serbia's dedicated Cuban dance festival, returning to Belgrade on November 5-8, 2026 and billing itself as the only purely Cuban festival in the country. Across four days it brings together Cuban artists, dancers and musicians for workshops, shows and parties built around casino, son, rumba and timba, drawing the Cuban-style salsa community from Serbia and the wider Balkans and Europe. The festival leans fully into Afro-Cuban culture, pairing daytime workshops with live-music nights and social parties that run late. With its niche focus on authentic Cuban styles rather than the more common LA/NY salsa or bachata, Havana en Belgrado has carved out a distinct place on the regional calendar for casineros and rueda dancers.
