ISM (International Salsa Meetup) is a Mexico City dance community and studio that mixes salsa, bachata and other styles with a strong social, meet-people ethos. Founded by a Japan-born instructor who fell in love with CDMX, it has grown into one of the city's go-to spots for travelers, remote workers and locals wanting to dance together. Its most popular weekly socials run Wednesday and Thursday at Busan in Condesa, with multi-level bachata and salsa classes before the party. The community also runs group classes, bootcamps and integration events, with no partner or experience required to join.
