Nirvana Dance Festival is a summer event in Istanbul fully dedicated to bachata, held at the five-star Elite World Grand Istanbul Kucukyali hotel in Maltepe on the Asian side, about 20 minutes from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The program features more than 20 technical and style workshops from international bachata artists, nightly social dancing with top DJs, shows and competitions. The festival also offers boat parties and daytime activities at the hotel. It bills itself as one of Istanbul's biggest bachata festivals.
