Summer Salsa Fest Varna is one of Bulgaria's longest-running Latin dance events, returning for its 15th edition on July 31 - August 3, 2026 on the seafront campus of the Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", about 8 km from the city centre near the beach. The festival is a three-day open-air dance marathon that combines beach vibes with workshops, shows and sunrise parties by the Black Sea, organised by the Malambo Varna team. Programming is spread across multiple outdoor halls plus an indoor stage, covering LA and NY style salsa, Cuban salsa and timba, a bachata terrace, pure kizomba and a zouk room, so social dancers can move between styles all weekend. The mix of summer-resort setting and a broad multi-style lineup of international teachers and DJs makes it a signature seaside event on the Bulgarian dance calendar.
