Zouk in Rio is the mid-year Brazilian-zouk festival hosted by the Núcleo de Dança Renata Peçanha, the Rio de Janeiro school regarded as a birthplace of the Lapa style of Brazilian zouk. Held at the school's home studio in central Rio, it is the home-court counterpart to the school's January Rio Zouk Congress and gathers dancers for workshops, nightly balls and a Jack & Jill competition. The 2026 edition runs June 26 to 28 at Av. Gomes Freire 197 in central Rio. Passes range from full passes covering workshops plus four nightly balls down to party-only and J&J entries, with tiered pricing across release waves.
